Doug Goransson, Partner/Creative Director, Whats-It, Inc.
A committed dilettante, Doug tucked away his BA in English from Boston College and set off to work in advertising. Starting as a junior copywriter at Marvin & Leonard, Doug worked his way through several notable Boston agencies, most recently as Creative Director/Partner at Gearon Hoffman. Along the way, Doug has created branding and advertising for clients large and small, from local favorite Harpoon beer to the international financial powerhouse, Fidelity.
Dick Davis, Partner/Creative Director, Whats-It, Inc.
When you cram the mind of an artist who created ceramic sculptures in the body of a super-competitive triathlete, you get Dick Davis. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Dick has worked to build a boatload of different brands in a range of Boston agencies, from junior art director at an arty boutique agency to Creative Director/Partner at Gearon Hoffman. Dick's experience includes brand imaging and advertising for clients ranging from small ski companies to international financial service giants.
