Account Supervisor- Fidelity Communications and Advertising – 0710861

Role

As a Account Supervisor, you will work with Fidelity marketing and segment management clients to deliver cost-effective, strategic creative solutions that meet measurable client performance objectives.

Major Responsibilities

  • Client Service
    • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for developing and executing multi-functional marketing programs
    • Ensure client needs and deliverables are met for all programs
    • Build/win client respect and trust
      • Develop thorough understanding of client products, services and practices as well as client markets including competitive research
      • “Read” situations accurately and manage those situations accordingly
  • Strategic Planning
    • Participate in and contribute to overall client marketing planning process
    • Help develop conceptual, business-driven advertising / marketing strategies with clients, including Marketing Communications proposals and messaging strategies
    • Work with client and agency Directors to determine program parameters/overall requirements
    • Develop all creative strategies
  • Program Management
    • Motivate and lead integrated project teams across multiple departments, ensuring that Agency policies, procedures, and best practices are followed
    • Independently manage multiple projects concurrently
      • Prioritize multiple responsibilities
      • In some cases, manage the activities of Account Executive or Asst. Account Executive personnel
    • Utilize automated project workflow management tools
    • Ensure that all work produced by the agency meets the highest quality standards
  • Communication
    • Contribute to building a team environment and motivate others
    • Provide feedback to others on client/project related issues
    • Give clear direction
    • Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Make effective and compelling presentations to a variety of internal and external groups
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or equivalent training is required
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of agency experience to include 1-2 years supervisory experience
    • Working knowledge of financial services industry and/ or Fidelity products and services
    • A core understanding of advertising and direct marketing capabilities including:
      • Data processing
      • Creative development and execution of:
        • Print and collateral
        • Direct Mail and fulfillment
        • Online marketing including email, advertising, web and landing page development
        • Trade show, PR materials, and novelties
        • Production
        • Media

**This group is located in Boston, MA now but scheduled to relocate to the Smithfield, RI in the middle of 2008.
