AMP Agency will present their fifth installment of the AMPlified Research Series – Inside the Buy, on June 20th at 2pm EST via a live webinar. This in-depth study reveals the new concept of Contemporary Loyalty and explores how brands can obtain a place in consumers’ consideration set as they navigate the new Path to Purchase.

In AMP’s research, they’ve we uncovered that the new consumer experience has greatly widened the scope of purchase possibilities and that consumers are actively seeking out information before they buy. This appears to have shifted consumers’ mindsets and redefined brand loyalty.

  • Only 3% of consumers say they are loyal to a particular brand and never buy anything else. That means an astonishing 97% expressed a lack of brand loyalty and are willing to consider brand choices.
  • An average of 43% of consumers report doing some type of research before they buy, and 94% said that research positively influenced their purchase decision.
  • 36% said they bought a product because of the research they found.
