Melissa steps into the role most recently held by Chris Perkins who drove the connector model strategy and is now moving into a client-side opportunity.

“This is an exciting time for Blitz as we continue to grow as a connections company,” says Melissa. “I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to lead such a talented team and to interact even more deeply with our diverse and intelligent client base. We wish Chris luck on his exciting new opportunity and assure our clients that we will continue to provide them with the exemplary service and keen strategic insights they have come to expect from Blitz.”

She has been instrumental in elevating and managing the Blitz brand and leading the search for outstanding connections partners. Melissa and the partners she has brought into Blitz’ network are responsible for many of the company’s recent new business wins. Prior to joining Blitz, Melissa co-founded a consortium-based marketing firm that attracted major national and regional clients. Melissa also served as executive vice president, director of business development at Mullen in which she led marketing and new business efforts for the IPG shop, and senior vice president of marketing at Arnold Worldwide in which she directed business development, agency marketing initiatives, and led the launch of the 20-office Arnold Worldwide Partners international network. Melissa began her career in New York City managing blue-chip clients at Scali, McCabe, Sloves and Grey Entertainment & Media. A graduate of Cornell University and Boston College Law School, Melissa is also a licensed attorney.
