Local cable sports network NESN has tapped advertising agency MMB to promote the upcoming 2011 Boston Red Sox season, the network said on Wednesday.
Boston-based MMB will craft a campaign that includes television, radio, print and online components, per NESN.
“We’re very excited to be working with MMB,” said Rick Booth, NESN’s Director of Creative Services, in a statement. “They understand the sports fans of today, the strengths of our network and the unique passion and emotional connection that exist between the team and its fans.”
MMB has created advertising for a variety of sports-related brands including ESPN and Saucony, among others.
