What:  Expanding upon the success of the ten community sites covering towns and small cities in greater Boston, “Your Town” is now launching in Natick and Somerville

The new “Your Town” sites will provide comprehensive town news and information, as well as links to local blogs, town directories, and other relevant local web sites.  Town correspondents will generate stories that are specifically focused on the concerns and interests of the local residents.

    • “Things To Do” Event Listings
    • High School sports features & schedules
    • Traffic alerts & transportation information
    • Interactive maps that can be used to report public works problems
    • Real estate listings and current home values
    • The “Guide to Your Town” feature, which includes information about community services, schedules, issues, and history

And as back-to-school season fast approaches, the school announcements, forums, and directories will be especially useful to readers.

    When: Available August 18, 2009
