Boston, MA (October 3, 2012) undefined Allen & Gerritsen (a&g), recently ranked number one in the United States by Advertising Age as “Best Place to Work in Marketing and Media” for the second consecutive year and listed among the Best Places to Work in Massachusetts by both the Boston Business Journal and the Boston Globe announces the addition of Julie Coulton to the position of Senior Vice President of Media Strategy & Analytics. She will report to Majja Dennis, who was also promoted from EVP/Marketing into the newly created position of Chief Client Officer.
As the company continues to build on the momentum of its new Innovation District headquarters, Majja Dennis will take an expanded role in the leadership of the organization. As Chief Client Officer, Dennis will oversee a&g’s marketing, brand strategy & planning, media & analytics, content activation, and brand experiences groups. This change allows a&g to focus on connecting business leadership, audience intelligence, and measurement into better insights and more compelling storytelling for all its clients. Dennis has been with a&g for two years.
Julie Coulton’s addition will enhance a&g’s ability to transform ideas and metrics into building brands and business. In her role, she will be responsible for developing an integrated team that will create an enhanced digital media capability that “looks at media as another form of creative” as well as overseeing the integrated strategy of a number of existing a&g clients.
Coulton brings over 15 years of experience to a&g. Her work history includes three years at Digitas San Francisco, three years at Mullen and a stop at Tapjoy, Inc. As the VP, Director for Digital marketing at Digitas, she was responsible for managing more than $175 million in marketing budgets and managing major client relationships, including AT&T. At Mullen, in her role as Senior Vice President, Director of Media Strategy, Coulton developed integrated marketing strategies for top clients including JetBlue and Zappos and set the overall digital vision for the agency. She also held multiple senior level positions at Carat Worldwide.
