    Award honors marketing strategy pioneer for lifetime contribution to the industry

    Detroit, MI (July 2010) – Recognizing the increasing adoption of formal strategy methodology among meetings and event marketing executives as a means to improve marketing programs and generate greater business results, Meeting Professionals International (MPI) has named David M. Rich, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Strategy for George P. Johnson Experience Marketing (GPJ) as its first ever RISE Award winner for Meeting Industry Leadership. Rich founded and currently leads the industry’s first and foremost strategy practice at GPJ, championing the discipline as a means to unlock higher marketing ROI and performance.

    MPI’s annual RISE Award honors those rare individuals who by visionary work and creative insight have positively changed the global meetings and events industry community. The award will be presented in a special ceremony at MPI’s largest annual event, the World Education Congress, July 2010 in Vancouver.

    •    Innovating the Portfolio Analyzer software. A groundbreaking enterprise software package based on Rich’s pioneering work in portfolio planning, the PA tool equips corporate marketers to turbocharge their ability to adjust their event mix to precisely align with their business objectives as well as the sequence of touch points that audiences need to have in order to move them to specific behaviors efficiently as possible.

    •    Advocating for the intersection of online and physical meetings, events and experiences. As web-based communications increasingly complements the meeting and event experience, Rich continues to lead with research and best practices around the use of the web to create truly integrated online-physical meetings and events.

    The act of exercising takes will power; but auatclly getting extreme results while having fun only happens at FIT! Group exercise is extremely motivating to me and having a group atmosphere with the feel of personal training is what you get from Deb & Victoria! I have been a member since Feb. 2008, and have been hooked ever since not to mention I don't believe I've done the same workout twice! I have exercised all of my adult life both on my own and at various gyms but, FIT is where it's at! The variety is beyond belief, the classes are fun and motivating, and the feeling I have when I leave is priceless Thanks Deb for getting me hooked on FIT and thanks Victoria for coming along and only adding to what Deb had already created as a welcoming place to exercise. Fitness is very important in my life and by bringing my daughter, Tia, along to spend time in the kids room at FIT she has made some great friends (children of other members) and appreciates the importance of fitness. Thanks for being so great to Tia also! Good luck in the new location.. I am excited for you both! And, I am excited to spend my time excercising in the new place!

    Hi Sean, I enjoy resource sainhrg sites. I am always looking for new ideas to engage students and help their learning and the ICanHasCheeseburger has the elements of an effective post. I also love humor and wish I could write humorous posts as this draws the reader back again and again.
