    Boston Red Sox Campaign Honored With CLIO Sports Award

    CTP and Sox recognized for fresh approach to sports campaign

    BOSTON July 30, 2014The Boston Red Sox and CTP, its agency of record, were honored at the inaugural CLIO Sports Awards in New York City for their 2013 "Whats Broken" advertising campaign.

    The cross-platform initiative featured raw, authentic communication between a team annd its fans and was awarded a bronze metal in the print category. The CLIO Sports Awards recognized some of the nation's elite brands and top-performing agencies.

    "This campaign was a true collaboration with our team and CTP," said Adam Grossman, SVP of Marketing and Brand Development for the Boston Red Sox. "We wanted to send a direct and authentic statement to our fans. CTP brought the organization's message to life in a meaningful, visual way during a pivotal time."

    "This campaign was about listening to the fans, organization and players on the field. We were fortunate enough to be allowed to translate," said Grant Pace, Executive Creative Director for CTP. "While we can't take credit for the Duck Boats rolling down Boylston in October, it sure was satisfying to witness first hand how something that was broken, did indeed get fixed."

    The CLIO Awards are an internationally acclaimed competition for advertising, design and digital communication.
