Advertising agency Arnold Worldwide has tapped Nick Dutton to be managing partner of the firm’s global creative network, the firm said Thursday.
Dutton is the second executive to join the local operation from Euro RSCG — Arnold’s sister agency — in the past month.
Longtime Euro RSCG executive Andrew Benett
joined Arnold as CEO in late February, replacing Fran Kelly. Kelly is
now vice chairman at Arnold.
Dutton comes from Euro’s London office; Benett had worked in Euro’s New York office.
Both Arnold in Boston and Euro RSCG are owned by Paris-based advertising holding company Havas.
In London, Dutton oversaw Euro RSCG Luxe, a luxury brand division at the agency.
At Arnold, Dutton has been charged with bolstering the shop’s “core
capabilities outside the United States,” according to the agency.
Dutton will report directly to Benett.
“Nick’s appointment and move to Boston is a tangible example of our
commitment to our global micro network ambitions for Arnold,” said
David Jones, global CEO of Havas Worldwide, in a statement. “Nick is a
terrific candidate with proven expertise in running global brands —
something very important to the future growth of the agency.”
Late last year, Arnold lost longtime client Citizens Bank. However, the shop recently won the Panasonic and Mike’s Hard Lemonade accounts.
Arnold’s client roster also includes Volvo, Ocean Spray and Hershey’s.
