Blitz Media Welcomes Heather Pidgeon as Group Account Director

    BOSTON- October 28, 2013 – Melissa Lea, President and CEO of Blitz Media, announced 
    today that Heather Pidgeon has been recently hired as group account director at the media 
    planning and buying agency. Prior to joining Blitz, Heather worked at Boston-based 
    iProspect as Vice President, Services. 

    “Heather has deep experience in working with Fortune 500 companies across a wide variety 
    of industries and verticals,” said Lea. “She is a true partner with clients and leads her team 
    with confidence.” 

    At Blitz Media, Heather will oversee the Carbonite and Harvard Kennedy School teams, 
    among others. 

    Heather worked at iProspect in a variety of roles in the client services organization. As the 
    Vice President, Services she was charged with defining and innovating the service channels 
    that iProspect offered, including Search, Display Media, Mobile, Affiliates, Data & Insights, 
    Attribution and Social Media. She has worked with clients like Procter & Gamble, Merck, 
    GSK, Wells Fargo, Alcon, Lids, and Sentara. Her category experience includes higher 
    education, retail, finance, B2B, and online publication. One of her most notable 
    accomplishments at iProspect, Heather founded the first vertically focused team, Health 
    Sciences. The team served clients within the health sector, including pharmaceuticals, 
    hospital systems, and health insurance. 

    She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the 
    University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from 
    Babson College.
