BOSTON, MA (January 29, 2013) – Yellin/McCarron, Inc. (YMI), a Boston-based media planning and buying firm announced today the promotion of Melissa Noyes to the role of Vice President/Media Director and Terry Morrissey to the role of Vice President/Finance.
Melissa came to YMI last January after six years as Media Director of Cleveland Communications. She began her successful advertising career in 1995 at Arnold, Fortuna, Lawner & Cabot (now MPG/Havas) where she worked on a number of high-profile national and regional clients, such as Volkswagen, McDonalds, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Citizens Bank.
“Since joining the firm, Melissa has influenced both how we service our clients and how we work together as a team,” said YMI President, Patti McCarron. “Her outstanding knowledge of media planning and buying, combined with her enthusiasm and creativity, make her a valuable asset.” As Vice President/Media Director, Melissa will take on a larger role in researching digital platforms and technology and developing multi-channel media solutions for YMI’s clients. She will also play a key role in long-term strategic planning initiatives for YMI.
Terry Morrissey has been with YMI for just over seven years, starting as a print buyer and account manager and taking on the role of Controller in 2008. Prior to joining Yellin/McCarron, Terry worked as a musician and producer, was Vice President of a high-end consumer electronics retailer, and owned and operated a retail clothing chain.
“Terry and I were friends long before he agreed to come and work for YMI; hiring him was one of the best decisions I ever made. The business and financial expertise he brought to YMI has greatly contributed not only to the efficiency of our day-to-day operations but to the overall growth of the company.” As VP/Finance, Terry will have a more prominent role in long-term financial planning and strategic planning initiatives for YMI.
